Project Overview

The Michigan Department of Natural Resources needed two prefabricated FRP pedestrian bridges.  The new structures would be replacing current bridges that were in poor condition due to severe deterioration of wood and cable material.  Both bridges are located in Craig Lake State Park which is in the Upper Peninsula of the state of Michigan, and they cross over the Pesheekee River.
