In early 2024, Areté engineered and fabricated an FRP truss bridge superstructure for Camp Hydaway. The bridge consists of three 55-ft long by 10-ft wide spans that connect a parking area and recreational facilities on one side of the lake to an extensive trail system on the far side. The ten-foot width accommodates simultaneous bi-directional bicycle and foot traffic. Haymes Brothers Construction assembled and installed the spans. They did a beautiful job on the piers, abutments, and approaches as well.
